I am trying to do a search on this and I am always tranferred to websites that ask for your credit card...How can I access public records to find if someone has been married or divorced ?
Why do you need to know? Does it matter?
If you really want to know, and don't want to spend any cash then it's simple,
ASK the person in question whether or not they have been married/divorced. If you love them, and are interested in them, then their history should not matter. Stop being a snoop, and start being honest. How can I access public records to find if someone has been married or divorced ?
If u have to go as far as to get your info from public records aint even worth it ,,,,u should be able to get the info u need from the person itself
ps/with any public look up you have to pay for most of them,,

I don't know what state your in but I'm from Oklahoma, and we have a website that is OSCN.net, that is oklahoma supreme court network.com it shows things like what you are looking for. Try to find a site like this in your state.
You have to go to town hall and ask the town clerk how you can find out if someone you know was married or divorced. You probably have to pay a fee for them to look up the record. It isnt free.

What country can I get married fastest?
I want to get married to an asian lady. I think arab and mongolian women are very beautiful and exotic. I dont want to waste too much time dating. I want the marriage to be almost immediate. Preferably, the country is very poor so that they will view me as wealthy and of high social status - where the women will quickly take notice of me. So, what countries is it easiest for a western man to get married? What country can I get married fastest?
A show off Con Artist eh?What country can I get married fastest?
You came here for an answer, not a lecture. Therefore, I'll reserve my opinion of the matter.
First of all, will you be moving to her country, or will you bring her back to yours?
I recommend strongly against moving to her homeland. Your money may be worth more there, but I know several people who have traveled the world, settling at times in regions of economic poverty, and they were unable to find any measure of satisfaction. You'll be without the luxuries you've longed taken as granted, and your belongings will be coveted by people who truly have a right to covet. However, if you do this, simply check out a list of countries by rank of poverty ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cou鈥?/a> ), and you'll know whose women you'll best impress.
If you'll be retrieving her to your Western world, your best bet is to take a quick survey of ';mail-order bride'; sites. These will give you a good idea of which women are most desperate to seek their fortunes in prosperous and developed lands. In addition, the rank of poverty list linked above will be useful.
It would also behoove you to research sexual discrimination in the countries from which you hope to choose a bride. A culture whose women are undervalued may give you a surprisingly hard time about stealing one away, especially if the population is predominantly male, but your bride will be all the more grateful.
All in all, Mongolia would outwardly seem to be an excellent choice, as well as the Southeast Asian islands.
Well Africa is pretty poor, course you have to watch out for the AIDS. Stay away from the French. I hear Russian women are pretty easy.
I don't mean to lecture you but I feel the need to! By the way Im not American ...
First of all women are not a commodity! Women are not just beautiful but intelligent too! It sounds like you think that you are ';higher'; than women. Arrogance and prejudice do not take you far with most intelligent women! Secondly it is sad how you want to go to a poor country so that you will look wealthy. Basically you want to take advantage of the womens poverty and social status. This sickens me. Marriage isn't something to be taken lightly ... and you should not get married quickly just for the sake of it. Seriously you should be in love .. she shouldn't love you for your wealth!
I hope you can reflect on this.........
Best regards
I dont think its going to happen. Seriously, you cant just marry just like that. It doesnt work like that.
That is just odd!!
Your concern should be where you can get a quick divorce, when you find your marriage is total hell.

Check out Puerto Vallarta! It's beautiful!
Puerto Vallarta has鈥?everything! Located in the center of the Banderas Bay is Puerto Vallarta. Embraced by an exuberant vegetation, bathed by the Pacific Ocean, heated by a vibrant sun, refreshed by the summer rain, constantly caressed by the ocean breeze, nourished by the river waters, decorated by palm trees and millions of flowers, contemplated by the moon, illuminated by the stars, in love with life and loved by its inhabitants鈥?Puerto Vallarta has everything to give to those who decide to step on its fertile land.
There is no other tourist destination in Mexico with such a privilege. Puerto Vallarta is a city experiencing constant growth and development, while at the same time maintaining a provincial air that intoxicates even the most calculating businessperson with romanticism.
Dozens of restaurants, many with internationally-recognized chefs, feature cuisine from around the globe. It's a shoppers' paradise with traditional market stalls as well as designer boutiques, fine art galleries and handicrafts from every corner of Mexico.
Vallarta offers championship golf, tennis tournaments, mountain biking, snorkeling, scuba diving, horseback riding, hot air ballooning and more for the active traveler! Day trips range from a flight to a mountain silver mining village to a cruise to the island preserve of many endangered species, from booze cruises to dolphin and whale watching.
Here is where I would recommend going and getting married:
http://www.dreamsresorts.com/drepv/index鈥?/a>
It's all inclusive and this hotel offers wedding packages and it's just gorgeous!!!!!
Check into a travel agent in your area, they can get you WAY better deals then going through the hotel website. Expedia also offers good deals on this resort!

Airfare is crazy cheap to go here if you book soon! My hubby and I are going here for our one year wedding anniversary in December (most expensive time to travel) and we got airfare for $380 non stop through Alaska Air! (We're in Seattle)
If I can help you in anyway, feel free to email me!
Good luck and congrats!
:)
I think the best options are Cabo, Cancun, and Puerto Vallarta. Cabo as at the tip of the Baja Peninsula. Cancun and Puerto Vallarta are about at the same latitude as Hawaii so the climate is excellent. I think Cancun and the surrounding area is the prettiest because it is on the Caribbean but it is also the most expensive.
My dad's getting married in Mexico in a few days :D we're going to the Mexican Riviera and staying at Dreams Princess Riviera Maya. http://dreamsprincess.com/index.php?loc=鈥?/a> It's all inclusive, which is great. And its not as much of a party town as Cancun. But a word of advise- get married in a court house before your trip. you'll be bogged down with paperwork if you actually do it in Mexico. (just have the ceremony there) here's some pics of the wedding set up:

Is it legal to get married to your second cousin?
Can you get married to your second cousin? Not that I'm thinking off it, just wondering. Is it legal to get married to your second cousin?
check out this site:
www.cousincouples.com
It gives a break down state-by-state of what is legal and what isn't. Some of the information is rather disturbing. Is it legal to get married to your second cousin?
You would have to check with your states attorney general's office
In every state in the union (including Ohio), in just about every country in the world, the answer is yes.
from what i understand it is but you have to check the laws for you state
You can in the state of Maryland! And they pick on West Virginia!
That would be kinda interesting, you would already know your in-laws. I think it is legal in most states.
you have your question wrong, it should say is it natural?
I think in some states you can. In OH you can't be closer than 3rd cousins.
i think it varies from state to state . probably though.
I believe in most states, it's okay... most states will even allow marriage between first cousins as there has been no link to genetic deformity due to it.

How long is a good amount of time to wait to get married?
Getting to know someone takes time, but when do you think you have more or less figured them out? You don't want to wait too long, or not wait it out long enough. What do you think? How long is a good amount of time to wait to get married?
I think it depends on the people involved! Everyone is different - some are open books, others have many layers, we all have baggage of some sort, but some baggage is harder to either deal with or open up, etc., etc. Lots of variables - times two.
I've heard the saying, ';Listen to your head, follow your heart.'; - but I think we need to make sure they are communicating! If both agree, it's a good deal. If they disagree, you need more time. Since I believe that marriage is forever, you should be sure. What seems to be ';too long'; to one person might not be enough time for another. How long is a good amount of time to wait to get married?
It all depends on how fast of a person you are. Did you go on one date a week for 4 months? Or were you with each other everyday for the past year? I think you will just know when it's that time and that you're ready. There's no hurt in waiting, it's only a piece of paper. It won't make your partner love you any more or less.
Wait for at least one year to get engaged. You should set a date at the time of engagement which would be an year or less away. That would give both of you an ample opportunity to know each other well.
I would wait at least one year before jumping into marriage. Marriage is supposed to be a lifetime commitment.
Well, if you've been dating for at least 2 years the risk of divorce significantly goes down. So, I'd say at least 2 years.
When in doubt, follow the lunar cycle (seems like a reasonable idea to me). That is one year.
Forever.
3 yrs.
64 years
I think that two years would be about right.

What important things do women consider when they are going to get married?
how important is financial support to the women? What important things do women consider when they are going to get married?
IF the man wants kids, have him put a bunch of money in a separate account to where you can be the only person to get it out. If you have a baby he takes off you can chase him for child support with his own money. 2 of my friends are going through this right now, it is so hard on the mothers. What important things do women consider when they are going to get married?
Security is very important to everyone. Marriage should be planned and talked about. Its not all about the bedroom life but about how your going to pay bills and live. If she thinks she will have to do it all, then she probably won't be a very happy marriage pardner. Don't get the cart before the horse, make sure you can take care (be the provider) of her before saying those vows.

I always tell my daughters to look at his family...are they educated..financially secure...stable is a good word...have jobs....alot can be said about how a man was raised....

How was Margret Douglas who married the Earl of Lennox related to Henry VIII and Katherine Parr?';?
I know that they attened the wedding (Henry and the Queen ) and that Margret was one of their cousins. But my question is who's cousin and was it first or second or what? Was the Earl of Lennox already Calhoun or was it still Grant at that time?
Thanks for your help. How was Margret Douglas who married the Earl of Lennox related to Henry VIII and Katherine Parr?';?
Margaret Douglas, Countess of Lennox (October 8, 1515 鈥?March 7, 1578) was the daughter of Archibald Douglas, 6th Earl of Angus, and Margaret Tudor, queen dowager of Scotland.
Margaret was born at Harbottle Castle in Northumberland. Because of her nearness to the English crown, Lady Margaret Douglas was brought up chiefly at the English court in close association with the future Queen Mary I of England, who remained her fast friend throughout life. She was high in the favour of her uncle, King Henry VIII of England, but was twice disgraced; first for an attachment to Lord Thomas Howard, who was imprisoned because of his misalliance with Margaret, and died in the Tower of London in 1537, and again in 1541 for a similar affair with Thomas Howard's half-nephew Charles Howard, the half-brother of Queen Catherine Howard.
In 1544 she married a Scottish exile, Matthew Stewart, 4th Earl of Lennox (1516-1571), who was regent of Scotland in 1570-1571. During Mary's reign, the Countess of Lennox had rooms in Westminster Palace; but on the accession of Queen Elizabeth I, she moved to Yorkshire, where her home at Temple Newsam became a centre for Roman Catholic intrigue. She succeeded in marrying off her son, Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley, to his cousin Mary, Queen of Scots, thus uniting their claims to the English throne.
So, he was her uncle. How was Margret Douglas who married the Earl of Lennox related to Henry VIII and Katherine Parr?';?
Margaret Douglas was Henry VIII's niece. Her mother was Henry's sister Margaret, who had been married first to King james IV of Scotland, then after his death to Archibald Dogulas, first earl of Angus, who was the father of Margaret Douglas.facial

Is it easier to file as immigrant to Canada when you are married? Any tips for easier approval?
or do you know other country needs an immigrant badly? Is it easier to file as immigrant to Canada when you are married? Any tips for easier approval?
Australia is looking for immigrants. With skills. Just do search on ';Australia immigration'; for an explanation of the different types.
For Canada, no being single is the best way, unless your spouse is highly skilled. Do a search for ';Canada immigration'; and take their test (it's an assessment of your chances of being an immigrat based on your education, age, skills, languages spoken, etc.). If you have relatives in Canada who are willing to sponsor you, so much the better. Also, you will need 12,000USD to support yourself for the first year in Canada while you get settled, so better save that up (as you must have proof of funds before admission as an immigrant). Is it easier to file as immigrant to Canada when you are married? Any tips for easier approval?
Non, it's not easier to apply (for YOU) if you are married or not. If you want to bring your partner/significant other into Canada at the same time, it would be easier for THEM if you two were married. If one of you is approved, their spouse will be almost automatically approved too, so long as they pass medical %26amp; security checks. So in general, if both of you are planning to come to Canada anyways, it's easier if you are married.
There's a Yahoo! Group for immigration to Canada that helps answer your questions, called Immigration Canada: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/immigratio鈥?/a>
For more info see the government Citizenship %26amp; Immigration website (see link at bottom of this post)
BTW Australia is the country that has anti-immigrant riots:

And throws refugees in internment camps in the desert for years:

From a pure economic perspective which is better staying single or getting married?
Considering that being single means all your earnings are kept to yourself. There wouldn't be children or family to spend money on. On the other hand, if you're married you will have almost double income as most couple share their finances. From a pure economic perspective which is better staying single or getting married?
As long as you can STAY married it is probably a better economic decision. Divorce is an expensive diversion that is infinitely more expensive than either remaining single or staying married.
Assuming you remain married for the long term you could take advantage of tax breaks like income splitting, child tax benefits, pooled health and dental benefits, shared accomodation costs and joint retirement savings (pooled principal = higher interest earnings/market returns).
Sure, children cost money to raise but they will save you money on things like household maintenance and long term care as you age. Not enough to earn back what you've spent, but hey, happiness in one area of your life can prevent spending in others like binge-drinking and loose women.
As long as we're on women it also bears consideration that a long term partner, while initially expensive (i.e. wedding and a ring), will cost less in the long run than a series of partners whom you wish to impress through splashy first dates and expensive gifts. Also the cost of satisfying your, um, carnal needs is likely lower in the marital bed than through, um, professional services like strippers, escorts, and one night stands.
Of course all of these financial benefits can be negated by being a philandering free spender with his divorce attorney on speed dial...But we all know that any endeavour involving lawyers only benefits lawyers.
Besides, if you don't have the self control to keep it in your pants or the reason to convince the wife to wait on buying that deep freeze, you're probably not destined for financial success anyway- married or single...From a pure economic perspective which is better staying single or getting married?
I agree with MSean.
Get married but have no or few (like only one child) as this is the most efficient as two can live cheaper than one. Not only that, if one loses their job, you can normally live off the other's pay until reemployed. Also, you can live a better life style and save more if you are smart. Most but not all married people have to many children and set them selves up for failure(financial).
Economist Harry Dent says that people enter their peak spending years between 25 and 50. These are peak spending because that's when they are raising a family. After the kids leave home the parents become savers, not spenders. That's why our economy has turned down lately, The Boomers have passed their peak spending years.
My opinion from a real world standpoint is that economically you would be better off single. Especially if you are male. On paper the dual income looks good, but in the real world 80 percent of household spending is done by the woman of the house. You will have lost control of most of your income.

How do I get a married man to be interested in me again so I can diss him?
This guy got me really interested in him and I found out he is married. He told me he was separated and we continued the ';friendship';. Now we are at a crossroads because I basically told him I want the truth from him and all he tells me is that he wants me. I know what that means and now I want to get back at him and make him want me more so I can leave him.How do I get a married man to be interested in me again so I can diss him?
That's twisted stuff. How do I get a married man to be interested in me again so I can diss him?
perhaps, that might not be a good idea. revenge is not a good behavior. just believe he will get whats coming to him in the end. just depart from him and move on and find another nice guy. Its a waste of precious time, and why waste TIME on someone who doesn't give a damn. I know your angry and hurt, and we do things out of hate, but down the road you ll realize how stupid it was. So im telling you now before you make foolish mistakes. I would check the background of the next guy you date, and scope him out before you further a relationship with them, and it will spare you many heartaches in the future. Good luck and remember to not waste time on trash. unfortunately its ashame you wasted too much time on him already.
Grow up and stop playing games, the guy is married leave him alone! If it were my husband and I found out a girl was tying to do that there would be a fight
What's the point? He played with you and now you want revenge? The best revenge is to live well, be happy and forget about him. He's not worth it. Trust. ';-()
I guess you can act flirty and fun while you are with him so he knows what he is missing
Don't do a thing. Haven't you heard of karma? What goes around comes around and he'll get his, don't waste another second of your life thinking about him!
You are fooling yourself about get him back to dump him to hurt him
Revenge is NEVER worthwhile.

jeez
u want him to like u so u can diss him
you sound way too young and immature to be seeing a married man
how old are you?? 12

How can I win sole custody of my child despite not being married?
Basically, this is a battle for a child out of wedlockHow can I win sole custody of my child despite not being married?
I鈥檓 a Father鈥檚 Rights Advocate for 20 years.
Many think the courts are rigged against dads, but in reality, it is more about attorneys unwilling or lacking the knowledge to truly fight for the father's rights. This is why it is important to learn how to interview and hire the right attorney. It is also important to do as much as possible on your own and not pay the attorney to do it.
Start keeping a daily journal of all your activities. The most common way to prevent a father from getting his rights through the courts is a false allegation, usually sexual. Over 60% of divorcing father are accused of child sexual abuse, of which only 4% are found to have any relevance, but there are no penalties for doing so. A daily journal is your number one piece of evidence in court and you can even refer to it while on the stand.
Gather evidence. Check the site below to see if it is illegal to record conversations without the other person knowing. If your state does not have a law either way, than it defaults to the federal ruling which says one person in a conversation must know they are being recorded. You鈥檙e that one person. In Missouri it is specifically legal, in Kansas there is no mention either way. If you live in two different states, and one has a law against it, than it applies when the call originates from within that state,
Now, you can't just record, you also have to transcribe it into the daily journal.
If you want to learn how to do all this go to Dads House in Yahoo Groups. There's an educational manual in the file section that can teach you what you need to know. The organization it came from is defunct due to attorneys that tried to take it over and make money from it.
Take the time to learn what you can and should do.

http://www.parentalalienation.org/How can I win sole custody of my child despite not being married?
If you are a male and the child is under eight, this will be very difficult.
The ';tender years'; doctrine is one that is followed by almost every state family court system. Absent establishment of lack of fitness by virtue of drug use, chronic alcoholism, prostitution, abandonment of the child periodically or criminal incarceration, the best interests of the child are always presumed by the Court to be by having the mother be the primary custodial parent.
If you are battling with the child's mother, is it about money? I ask because sometimes parents have a price, and a lump sum offer may cause her to agree to give you primary physical custody.
Absent that, the best you can hope for is a liberal visitation schedule that adopts a co-parenting model favored by the courts. You will need to retain a Father's Right's attorney to assist you.
Is the other parent unfit, or are you just trying to punish them using your child as the device of torture? If the other parent is fit, it would be in your child's best interest to have equal time with both of you.
Proving the other parent unfit would be the first step towards sole custody...
Unless you can prove the father unfit, you can't....Sorry.
The child is genetically half his, or did you forget that?
You picked him to be the father (remember??), and as such, he has legal rights.
I agree with girlegi.
but with Three things added
One will have physical custody...
Child support from the noncustodial parent. set at about 33 % of gross income...
Visitation set out clearly. ...
The woman wins that all the time.
Get a lawyer or try to get along with the father enough to split custody fairly
The battle is the same if you are married or not.
You file for sole custody and go to court. (Forms are at the courthouse- you know... the big building downtown)

Why would a married man go to trips with another married woman?
I'm rephrasing the question I asked earlier. My soon to be ex denies having an affair with this married woman, a mother of 4, who was once his coworker. I have proofs of their affair and don't want him back in my life. But he is insisting they had nothing between them. Why would he go out to trips with her if he didn't have a relationship? I told him that I don't trust him and don't want him back in my life ever. Why doesn't he get my points? Why would a married man go to trips with another married woman?
You know the saying, ';No matter what, deny deny deny';? Sounds like he's taking it to heart.
Im glad you're not taking him back. Remember, there will come a day when he looks at his life and regrets what he did. By then, you'll have moved up and on and probably have someone who love and respects you.
Lots of luck! Why would a married man go to trips with another married woman?
Your point is now moot. You referred to him as your ';soon to be ex';. If that is the case, what would it matter with whom he had been or what they did or did not commit.
It would be best if you started considering the future. You cannot change the past, but you can influence the future. Get doing it.
Why are you having such a hard time with this? Your husband LIED. You have tons of proof, you know he lied. You aren't done with him, because you reword the question and pose it again. You need to let go of all this. You're getting a divorce. It doesn't matter what he thinks or feels. Why do you try to believe what he's telling you? He's a LIAR. If you can't get passed this on your own, maybe you should try some counseling.
I have proof of their affair.
So....to get him to see your 'points' lay the evidence out before him.
That failing.....use this magical spell that dissolves all love and bonds in a relationship. Now remember...this has to be said verbatim. Leave nothing out. Ready?
';Hey....Dipshit. What part of 'get the fug out of my life' don't you understand you Asshole?';.
Repeat in a louder voice if the first incantation fails and increase the volume of your voice each subsequent time.
There may or may not be a sexual relationship going on between them. Either way, it's not appropriate for him to go on a vacation with a married woman and her kids. I would say there is something going on and you were right to dump him. If there is ever anything said about it, maybe you should ask how he would have felt if you went on a vacation with a married man and his kids?
If you have proof then that's it you have the proof, so whatever he says you know is a lie, why bother trying to get lier to admit the truth? Just put him out of the picture and get on with your life.
He is in denial boo. He might just believe that he did nothing wrong.
Ur doing the right thing by divorcing his trifling stupid a**!
Move on and let it go. All u gonna do is work yourself up by trying to prove to the idiot he was wrong. It so isnt worth losing sleep over. He cheated and u know it... what more is there to discuss!
he doesn't want you to leave so will deny this happened to the bitter end. i have guy friends that have said they will deny until they die. but your heart and head will know the truth. i think them lieing helps them deal with what an @ $ $ they are.

How do Conservatives view Sarah Palin's Daughter pregnancy Since She is NOT MARRIED?
Honestly speaking, I was raised by my grandmother and If i were pregnant at 17 and i was not married- I was going to hell and shunned by the whole community. But that was then How do Conservatives view Sarah Palin's Daughter pregnancy Since She is NOT MARRIED?
Conservatives only see this as a problem when a liberal or Democrat does it. When a Republican is outed as being gay, or has an affair, or shows a predilection for young boys or something like that, Republicans see it as unfair to criticize him, the charges are only political.
It's the same when a daughter of a Republican is pregnant outside of marriage. If it was Senator Biden's daughter, we'd be seeing questions here about how we could even THINK about electing someone so immoral that his daughter is pregnant. But since it's a Republican daughter, well, sh*t happens, it happens in the best families.
And it does! It could happen to your daughter. Girls with those silly Promise Keeper rings, who take pledges and get certificates get pregnant outside of wedlock just as often as girls who don't. Anyone who is young, or once was young, can be understanding about that. It doesn't really bother me a bit, what bothers me is the incredible hypocrisy of Republicans. How do Conservatives view Sarah Palin's Daughter pregnancy Since She is NOT MARRIED?
I do not know why all of the liberal Republican feminists love the fact that Sarah Palin is a Mom, and her oldest daughter Brystal is pregnant out of wedlock.. And, her daughter Brystal is having a 'shotgun' wedding to make the baby legitimate because her mother is the new VP candidate for the GOP. Brystal has been pregnant for 5 months. Why is she just now deciding to get married? Sarah Palin is a hunter, loves guns and the NRA; and I imagine she wears the pants in her household. Being a Mom does NOT qualify Sarah Palin or anyone else to be the best Vice President of the United States? If Sarah Palin had spent more time taking care of her children instead of being a Mayor and a Governor, maybe her daughter would not have become pregnant at 17 years old. What career plans does Sarah Palin's daughter have? Usually 17 year old teenagers who become pregnant have personal issues with their families.
It's clear by the the way you phrased your question that you are trying to make the point that conservatives should frown upon Sarah Palin because of this...
If I had to guess, you are a Democrat, and if I'm right about that, why are you picking on a poor teenage girl having a baby out of wedlock? Do you feel compassion for everyone, or only for fellow liberals?
I think you should send a portion of your welfare check to Palin's daughter to show how much you care about people in need.
Speaking for myself I find it refreshing that they did not have her go get a quick abortion...She is not the first politicians daughter to get pregnant just probably one of the only who did not have an abortion. If you were in my community and you were 17 I would not shun you or say you were going to hell. I would be proud of you for being strong and not giving in to the easy choice in the culture of death we are living in.
Believe it or not, conservatives are realists, too. I am a conservative Democrat. Doesn't mean I don't know that teenagers have sex and that there are way too many teenagers getting pregnant.
Once upon a time, as you said, we had the specter of pregnancy hanging over our heads to keep us chaste. No more. Seems like it is no big deal anymore.
No matter how we might hope our kids will listen to us, kids will do what kids will do. All the loving, nurturing parenting in the world can not keep a child from making a misstep here and there, and sometimes the consequences are lifelong.
That being said, I had my first child at eighteen, and that was 45 years ago, so it's not like it is something new in the world.
Look, it happens all the time, and has happened since time began. Conservative or not, I think the only way to confront human nature is to teach your child the values you hope they will adopt, and make sure they have education and access to birth control and techniques of safe sex to protect themselves.
I think there's an answer in there somewhere. I meant for there to be.
Wait...it's none of our business that Sarah Palin, who's running to the be the second most important person in one of the most powerful nations on Earth has a daughter who has a illegitmate kid at 17....
However, it's totally worth a constitutional amendment to stop Sulu from Star Trek from marrying his boyfriend??
Logic abounds!
Real conservatives aren't so narrow-minded. They follow certain values and try their best to teach those values to others, but in end life happens and it is not able to be controlled. What's important is to support each other through life's challenges as they happen.
At least they don't think of the baby as a punishment.
When I heard about it, my first thought was, ';oh boy, here we go.';
Look, whatever your personal views are about out-of-wedlock sex, we all know that things happen and people make choices and there are consequences. Anyone who is a parent knows that you don't have much influence after, oh, about what age? Maybe 14? Probably depends on the kid, but you do your best and then they make their own choices.
So, it doesn't change my opinion of Palin, because I know she's a mom who is doing her best, just like me. And, I know that, while they are putting on their smiley faces for the public, I'm sure there were a few things said behind closed doors. You know there were a few freak-outs, but that part is a family matter. I wish the mother-to-be well, and I hope she and her husband-to-be will really work hard to make their marriage work, because heaven knows, they've got a few strikes against them from the start. I applaud them for getting married, even at their young age. I think adoption is the best choice, and marriage is the second best choice in situations like these.
Politically, it is disappointing, because it becomes fodder for attacks from the Dems.
I think you have to understand that everyone in life makes mistakes, and even when Obama was asked this exact same question he said candidate's families should be left out of elections and even though something like that happened, it does not have anything to do with how a person will run our country. Very noble of Obama to say.
I view it as a very unfortunate situation and a very bad mistake for a young woman, but there isn't any option at this point for the Palin family to band together and do all they can to help give the new baby the best life they can. She isn't the first teenager to get pregnant and won't be the last.
Well, I can say this ... God doesn't hate the person, he only hates the sin. God sent Jesus to save us from our sins, not to judge us. We need to be graceful and forgiving in this case, and with all children caught in this predicament.
And now I will tell you my grand daughter came about the same way, I was mad at first, but she is now the light of my life ... All children are blessings form God, whether born or unborn and whether married or not.
I am a conservative but even I understand cultures change. While I disagree with it, it is no longer about whether or not she is married, but the welfare of the child.
No matter what, it happened. Now she simply needs to look to the future. So does a lot of other people, but they won't.
Please consider
since BOTH the Democrat and Republican offerings for candidates are seriously lacking in qualifications and moral standing.....
Would U consider voting for the NOT a Democrat and NOT a Republican?
Think about it!
I wonder if she attended a school that didn't teach sex ed, you know, follwing Bush's faith based programs so they can get more money. Keep 'em uneducated about sex, and cross your fingers that horny, curious teens aren't going to screw around.
That is exactly how the far right christian conservatives will treat Sarah and her family. They will see this as an embarrassment and demand she be replaced. The far christian right have a very narrow view of Christianity.
Most of the conservative religious people are standing behind her because she is walking the walk, not just talking the talk. I am standing behind her because she is the best person for the job.
Republicans are thin-skinned hypocrites. If the situation were reversed, the Repukes would be calling for a public lynching. Instead, they're trying to say that trailer-trash morals are fine.
I believe you mean social conservatives. Many people today are fiscal conservatives and social liberals (or moderates).
As for your question.
Its not my problem.
Why can't you people follow the wise counsel of Barack Obama and regard this family matter to be NOT AN ISSUE?
The thumbs down tell me you repukes want it to be an issue.
I don't know, but those evangelicals sure know how to pop out the illegitimate children, don't they!?
I think many may be disappointed about it however, they Will be pleased she is not getting an abortion.
THings have changed. It is a normal occurrence to see an un-wed mother. I think it has nothing to do with this election and should be left alone.
Follow Plan B get married.
Pretty bad decision... at least she is taking ownership of it though instead of saying that society made her a slut.
I am sure they weren't thrilled but they are dealing with it
I could care less, even if they were dems.
McPalin 08
yes. that was then. better the family shows love, caring and support.
It is not any of my business. I wish she has a healthy baby.
I'm fine with it. I give her lot's of credit for not having an abortion. She could've done that, but she didn't.

How long must i my stay married for to keep my green card?
Hi i was wondering if someone could please help me out?How long must i my stay married for to keep my green card?
well said Candis65 (US or any other country tho)How long must i my stay married for to keep my green card?
Generally, if you are married less than two years after you become a permanent resident your marriage will be considered to have been a sham marriage.
There are exigent circumstances that you will find on the I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions of residency.
Hi !
You could call the Dept of immigration and find out! It is illegal to marry someone just for the purpose of getting to stay in the U.S.
Have a great day!
Once you receive your Unconditional Permanent Residency (not the temporary conditional one) you no longer need to stay married to keep it.
It is not illegal to hold off your separation if your marriage was authentic. However, if you go through a final interview, it is illegal to lie about your relationship to the immigration officers in order to finalize you permanent residency.
that is just plain wrong. how would your partner feel after they find out you just used them? it's not human, it's cruel. sorry but it is.
What,, no anchor baby?

I'm a Permanent Resident in Canada, residing in British Columbia and my boyfriend is a US citizen who is residing in Florida. We're planning to get married in the US but I'd like to know which country is easier to get married in: Canada or the US? Which one's cheaper, which one's less time consuming and which one's less stricter on immigration issues like this? I'd also would like to know what way is the easiest to get married. They're probably the same but I still would like to know. Thank you in advance. Which country is easier to get married in?

My fiance and I are getting married in November, can we file a joint return?
My fiance and I are getting married in the beginning of November and I heard if we're married before December 31, then we would be considered married the whole year, Is this true?My fiance and I are getting married in November, can we file a joint return?
From IRS publication 501:
';Married persons. If you are considered married for the whole year, you and your spouse can file a joint return, or you can file separate returns.
Considered married. You are considered married for the whole year if on the last day of your tax year you and your spouse meet any one of the following tests.
1. You are married and living together as husband and wife.
2. You are living together in a common law marriage that is recognized in the state where you now live or in the state where the common law marriage began.
3. You are married and living apart, but not legally separated under a decree of divorce or separate maintenance.
4. You are separated under an interlocutory (not final) decree of divorce. For purposes of filing a joint return, you are not considered divorced.';
So as long as you're married on Dec. 31st, you can file joint.
Also ownlee_me, you can't file as a single, though you could do married filing single, but usually that's not a good idea.My fiance and I are getting married in November, can we file a joint return?
Correct. As long as you are married before 2007 rings in, you are good to file joint.
yes, as long as you are married before Dec 31
Yes. And you'll get a tax break as well. As Long as you are married by Dec 31 you'll file joinly for that entire year.
I don't know. I got married in July and we are doing seperate taxes this year since we weren't married for half of the year.
Yes you can file a joint return. You are right, if you are married before dec 31st you do file a joint. Same as if you had a baby Dec. 31 @ 11:58 pm you can still use that child on ur tax return. As long as it happen before 12am on jan 1st. Besides, you'll get a good refund since you have been claiming single the other months. So congradulation on the new marriage!!
Ownlee me--- U can alway Amend you return. If you feel that you could of file jointly. You will have to filed married separtly if you are in a trans to gettin divorced or just legally separted. Not if you just married and was only married half of the year. If you were just married, in the tax law, u are concidered married all year. True for common law marriages too.
Yes, you will be able file jointly. The December 31 cutoff is correct.facial
