Why are so many American women in such a hurry to get married?

Hi everybody! I'm a young American man and I've been noticing something about American women for a long time. Many women are in such a rush to tie the knot for themselves. Why is that? Why are so many American women in such a hurry to get married? Are they programmed by society to do that or is it just female nature? What do you think about this? Any responses would be appreciated. Thanks! Why are so many American women in such a hurry to get married?
Really? I thought it was the opposite! More American women are marrying later and choosing to not have children. I think a lot are pressured because some might think there is something wrong with not wanting marriage. I know I am the only female on my mothers side unmarried and with no kids and everybody is just waiting for me to come out (i'm not gay btw, though it certainly gives my family a reason to whisper it). It is funny, but most girls I know my age are not interested in marriage so I haven't noticed a lot of marriage crazy girls. I know there are a lot of reality programs centered around marriage and the more I see them the more I don't want to marry. I think it may be the medias constant depiction of marriage that might make women think they need/want to marry, that and fear of being a lonely old cat lady or being accused of being a lesbian. Why are so many American women in such a hurry to get married?
its usually just for you know what (sex)

but more than 70% of american women want to get married fast because they are afraid that they wont find love and that they would be alone for ever :(

that's why we are so obsessed with our looks! :(

it gives us confidence
People in general have become increasingly lazy. People who get married before 25 are just looking for an easy way out of doing anything for themselves without latching onto someone else for financial security.
In one word GREED GREED GREED GREED GREED
The average age for marriage in the US has risen significantly in recent years.
Biological clock. And they aren't getting any younger.
