What are the chances of high school love birds getting married?

And also where do most people meet their soulmates who they marry and stay togethr with?? (other than high school or college)What are the chances of high school love birds getting married?
I comt from a VERY small town. I have seen many high school sweethearts get married and then get divorced within just a few years.

I met my husband in high school, graduated 2001. I went to college, he joined the army. We dated off and on. Until 2006. He was in Germany with the Army. I was about to graduate college. We decided that we were really meant to be together. Are we high school sweethearts? I dont know, maybe. But we waited until we were 23 to get married.

As for your other Q, I have seen many soldiers get married. But in the Army, you are only really around other soldiers.

But the divorce rate is so high, it's a real chance for two people to stay together anymore. You really have to work at a marriage, and I dont think that most people know that or want to work at a marriage. What are the chances of high school love birds getting married?
People in high school don't know what love means yet. They think some moronic infatuation is being ';head over heels in love.'; If it happens to last past the school years then it's purely luck and coincidence. Besides, from the time kids are in high school until they're adults, they change SO much - the odds of the two people still being ';compatible'; years later is just microscopically small.
Pretty likely. Happens all the time. How likely are they to stay together? Not nearly as likely. :) They change, realize they're different than they thought after growing up a little.

I don't know about your second question. School's a big one, but maybe work, through friends, at parties, etc. Heh, even the internet.

A lot of relationships don't last these days, though.
the chances are not awesome... but it happens! because when you get out of high school you enter the real world, and the real world is awesome
