What happens to gay couples in CA who were already married?

Can they take that away from them or what? I dont believe that its right for the ban in the first place. What happens to gay couples in CA who were already married?
Proposition 8 states ';only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California'; and in the ballot argument to have it placed on the ballot supporters wrote that it would invalidate all such marriages ';regardless of when or where performed'; - an interpretation that would apply to existing as well as future marriages. It is likely that already married same sex couples will find that their marriage will be no longer ';valid or recognized in California.';What happens to gay couples in CA who were already married?
sorry idk the answer but im interested in it

although i dont think they could force them to get divorced so i think their still married
All gay couples who have been married those marriages will be annulled.
Currently in the courts, they are trying to decide what will happen. Either the marriages will be voided or they will stay but no more will take place.
nothing happens to them , they go on as they always have without a piece of paper to announce that they live together.
The marriage is annulled.
